To shed some light on what we get to be a part of, we thought we’d highlight one of our recent class projects. Each of our students read a biography on someone that interested them and then wrote up a short summary script. We set the kids up around the library and invited parents and students to stroll though. They functioned like street buskers, standing perfectly still until coins were dropped in their hats…bringing them to life to tell their stories. In the end we raised enough money to buy five new books for the library (chosen by the well-read grade fives of course).
We’ve had lots going on in these last couple of weeks, primarily building up to a single pinnacle—the end of the school year. Report cards will soon be going out and year end parties are already ramping up. It’s hard to capture everything that’s been happening in and outside of work but in short we’ve been very active in work we’ve found fulfilling and in a place of mutual contentment in life. Can’t ask for much more. To shed some light on what we get to be a part of, we thought we’d highlight one of our recent class projects.
